How the countdown works
Pick a preset or enter a title, a date and a time, then press Start countdown. The display counts down the days, hours, minutes and seconds to the target and updates every second. Once the date passes, the page switches to the time elapsed since the event.
Share a countdown
Copy link creates a web address with the title and the target date in the URL. Anyone opening the link sees the same countdown, with no account or sign-up involved. By default the target follows each viewer's local clock, so a New Year countdown ends at midnight wherever the viewer lives. Tick Same moment in every time zone to fix the countdown to one exact moment, for example a product launch or a live stream.
Presets and recent countdowns
The presets cover New Year, Christmas, Halloween, Valentine's Day and the coming weekend, and each one picks the next upcoming date. Recent countdowns stay saved in the browser, so an earlier countdown opens again with one click. Everything runs in the browser, and the page sends no data anywhere.
